You don't mention how old your birds are, but if they're over 18 months or so and have molted this past fall or winter, they're not going to lay until daylight hours lengthen enough to trigger laying to resume.
In addition, the stress of losing flock members plus onset of molt could be the reason the laying stopped early. Or if most of the hens are older, it's possible that their laying season has shortened as well.
