Hens on vacation

I need some advice. I have twelve hens who have laid like champs all summer, and randomly all at once went on strike. It has been extremely hot since this begin, but also I had a hen go broody at the same time. Any advice on how to put eggs back on my plate

How old are they? This is a common time for chickens that were hatched last year to be molting, which will often slow or halt egg production.

They were hatched the end of January beginning of February. I have noticed a lot of feathers in the coop/pen. Is that what I am noticing? This is my first year with chickens
