Hens or Roos? EE or Americaunas???

Ok so y'all were right so just wasn't looking close enough at their combs. I still can't tell about the peas but with your knowledge maybe I can learn. #1 is Fluffy Fluff( hoping pullet) #2 Merrygold #3 Maple Syrup(I think rooster). My kids named them! Hehe I love it

Cockerels will start to show random rust/burgundy color feathers, from my experience, as well as the combs will get a darker pink to red quicker than pullets.

I'm leaning towards pullets. In the next few wks keep an eye on comb color. Some say EE cockerels will have a different # of rows in the pea comb than pullets, that's not always 100%.

I have 3 EE hens and there was 1 of them I truly did not know what it would be till maybe 3 months. She behaved like a pullet, looked like a pullet but all the sudden she got brownish red feathers in and it freaked me out and she started sounding like a cockerel. I put pics on here and was relieved to find out she was indeed a she. I'm thankful to say she was just an oddball and started laying a few wks later haha.

No one's looking cockerel at this point.

I do think you have a more mixed bag of genetics going on. The first and third bird look like they have rose combs, or rose combs mixed with something else. Different than pea combs. Most common rose combed breed is Wyandotte, not sure if your friend had them or not.

Anyway, no one's pinging the roo-dar right off, but again they're still a bit young.

One of ours( the brown crele) acts like a rooster. The other 2 are docile.
