Hens or roos? (With close up pics) Buff orpington

Hmmmm I'll be interested to hear what everyone will have to say. I only have one Orpington, so I am not at all qualified to help you, unfortunately. But, my Orpington cockerel is 10 weeks old and already has bigger wattles than the one in your picture and has a huge crow that he loves to belt out...all the time! Not all my cockerels are crowing yet though, so I don't think that all birds crow at exactly the same time. I would guess that since yours is 19 weeks old already that you should have either a crow or an egg really soon to let you know whether you have a boy or girl!

please check out my Barred rock one too

Neither. She's a pullet! (Under one year old.)
Cockerels usually start crowing by 16 weeks and have very large dark red combs/waddles by then. The girls start laying about when their comb and waddles darken. You can expect an egg any day! :celebrate
