Are these hens or roosters hey are probably between 5-8 weeks. I was told that they are Easter Eggers

#1 looks like an Easter Egger pullet to me. Can't see the comb of #2 but I'll guess Easter Egger pullet based on coloration. #3 has a crest, which I believe is unusual for an Easter Egger, but not much in the way of comb and its "partridge" coloration, if it doesn't change, usually means pullet. #4 does not have the pea comb associated with most Easter Eggers and a LOT of pink comb, even for 8 weeks (and looks younger to me) so that's the one I would think is a cockerel. Did you buy them sexed? What was the source (backyard breeder, hatchery, etc.)?

How old are they? There's a lot of difference in development between 5 weeks and 8 weeks. Think a 10 yr old kid and a 15 year old kid...
The only one I suspect may be a cockerel (not a rooster, they aren't roosters until their a year old) the only one I see is #4, for the size of that comb... but that's a possibility.

Please wait until their 8 weeks at the earliest.

I got them from someone local that sells chicks. She said she was about 80% sure they were to be females she gave me two for free in case. I’m sure they are probably mixes of some sort which is fine I’m happy with my little chicks. I just hope they are girls lol. She said she would take any males back. I believe when I got them they were 1 week old making them 6 weeks this Friday.
