I feel like the chicken gods are against us. We have 7 chickens. They are 9.5 weeks old. Pretty sure we have all Roos at this point. Another has just crowed. We have only three left we are still not sure of but pretty sure they are also Roos.

ok so as much as I would love this splash to be a hen , it's a Roo isn't it ?
I think I have one pullet out of 7. I'm so discouraged. All of our chickens last year were also Roos.

Why are you so sure the splash is a pullet? The pictures are blurry but from what I can see of the comb it is small and pale.
Everyone I ask this question to the answer is always 50/50. It is always facing off with the other roosters although submissive to them. The tail feathers are droopy and looking pointy. At this point I have 5 Roos and if this splash is a roo that makes number 6. That only leaves only lonely hen and I am not allowed to have Roos where I am. I had a video to upload but it isn't allowing me to share to this group.

Tail feathers mean nothing at that age, nor does sparring. It's all about the comb. If it is small and pale then you l probably have a pullet. A clear close up of the face/comb would help. With videos, folks usually post to Youtube and then post a link.

My 23 week pullets spar from time to time. One laid a fart egg and the others comb just turned pink so they are for sure females. So behavior isn’t a really indication of male or female.
