I have 6 bantams, (mixed breeds from feed store) all almost 9 weeks old. I have one obvious rooster, he has a much larger comb and side burn things and has been crowing for about a week, however, two of the others act like roosters, challenging him but although the have starter combs too, the're much smaller. What are the chances they are just tom-boy hens?

Yup, at 9 weeks pullets are just as agressive as cockerals. Also, at 9 weeks, cockerals should have pinkish faces. Pullets usually don`t color up until just before they start laying......Pop
