Hens red earlobes turning white

This is some interesting information. I've noticed that a few of my hens' earlobes have turned from red to a blue-ish white, and appear almost shiny. Our egg production hasn't fluctuated much at all. Most days we get an egg from every hen. I've also never noticed any sort of bugs on my birds.

Is there a difference between faded/white earlobes and the earlobes I described?
