I've had my hens now about 2 months(7 of them, varying from 8-12 months old/all laying). I have rarely been able to touch them. When I feed them, clean coop and run, or give treats I try to pet them, they just putt and run away. A few days ago, one or two of them started squatting when I walk in the pen and let me pet them. Now pretty much all of them will squat and allow me to pet them. Matter of fact, a couple walk up to me and squat.
I am the primary caretaker of the hens so I am the person they see 99.9% of the time. Is this normal behavior for them to do this for their "master"?
