Flock raiser is available in both crumble and pellet. And if you've got spillage problems, it might be that you need a different type of feeder.

looks like purina is the only brand of flock raiser. they only have crumbles at my feed store so I think it'll be fine. I'll try it

I use both the crumble and pellet, depending on if I've got young chicks around or not. I've never had a problem with birds cleaning up every bit that might get spilled. Occasionally, cockerels sparing will lead to a completely flipped feeder. The mess is usually devoured by the end of the day. If you do find you've got a bit too much spillage, you can wet it down a bit.

Purina Flock Raiser is crumbles only, but Nutrena make a 40 pound bag of all flock pellets.
