Hens suddenly attacking my duck

We have eleven hens and one duck they share the same pen and have always gotten along recently we have introduced a rooster and all eleven hens have suddenly turned on our duck, the duck has lost nearly all her feathers and is petrified to leave the pen untill the hens are gone I don't know what to do it's truely heart breaking to she our poor helpless duck being piled on by eleven hens and a rooster we have often had to break up the fights but the rooster turns on us then. I don't know what to do why has the hens suddenly turned on the duck, are they under the roosters influence? Please I need ungent help

It could be that the hens want the rooster for themselves and are driving the "odd" one away. You should build the duck her own enclosure, allow her to heal and get her some friends of her own kind or find her a new home with other ducks.
