Hens vent.....

and is anyone pecking her?

I'd segregate in a dog cage or something similar, observe for 2-3 days and deal with it accordingly. If you see any pulsing you will need to treat for possible eggbound...lots of information by searching here...

Can you give some history of this bird? Housing, feed, anything? It is a little difficult to diagnose based on 'my hens vent is red'. Someone mentioned lice, have you checked for lice or mites? This would be the place to start. When was the last time your wormed? Do you have a rooster that is mating her constantly?
