hey alaskan-- if you had a white heat lamp and turned it off even for a week, that might trigger a molt. If it was a red lamp, it shouldn't matter. Good luck!

), is breaking the eggs. They do have oyster shell in a container next to their grit, and the light is red that I turned off at night, and is know back on. I do collect twice a day, but they have stoped laying in the morning, so the only eggs I collect are at 5:30 when I get home.
