hens with bare/bald backs

My roosters have somehow got two of my buff orpingtons feathers pulled out on their backs. They are completely bald. Will the feathers grow back? Is there something i can put on the hens to prevent this?

Chicken saddles. You can look them up on here.

When the roos breed the hens, their claws pull feathers off their backs. Try to have at least 10 hens per roo, that will lessen the damage.

And as Slywoody said, do a search, top right, for chicken saddles.

If you can protect their backs, yes, they will.
