Im not so sure its cocci now. She did have beads of blood in her stool once that I have seen. She and another hen both lay down alot but they aren't showing any other symptoms of cocci. Both have huge appitites and they do get up and move alot too. They aren't fluffed up like the descriptions say and don't look anything like the pics I have seen of the sick birds. She is bright eyed and begs for yogurt. Could it have been a fluke? Can she still die even if she is acting "normal". Could it be stress, I've only had her for two weeks. I read that after the 5-6th days is when it is fatal. Bloody stool apears around the 3-4 days and that was yesterday. I really don't want to wake up tomarrow with a dead baby and I really hope I am just overreacting. I wish I had taken some pictures or something before I cleaned out the coop.
