We recently culled a leghorn because one side of her face, and especially her eye was swollen and had a kind of discharge. I've since noticed 3 of my speckled Sussex chicks, 1 about 6 months, and 2 that are 3 months are acting sickly. I isolated them from the others for a few days now, and am surprised their still alive. One of the chicks especially acts lethargic, keeps her eyes closed and her head tucked in, and another I just put in tonight has one eye that looks inflamed, maybe red, and has her 3rd eye lid partially shut. I noticed the oldest one acting sick first, but she seems to be the most lively of the 3, although at times through out the day she does seem lethargic and seems to keep here yes closed and head down........any thoughts for treatment?
