Hens wont lay in laying boxes

if mine fines a place she would rather lay she does right now she is laying in a little barn i made for my dogs to go in to get cool its filled with hay and she lays in a corner of it
 
Today that golf ball wasnt welcome I guess. She kicked the ball out so that she could lay. Kind of funny if you ask me.
