Yeah I thought the same but we have been hoping for a rooster because we had a pretty major incident where a dog killed all of our roosters and some hens so our flock dramatically decreased in size, but they are still a big bunch especially now that we have ducklings almost a month old

The picture doesn't show him very good but he has fluffy cheeks because he is an EE x RIR

aww...I love dogs..but dogs suck sometimes.
It took me a while to teach my dogs to leave my chickens alone.

puffy cheeks are some of the sweetest cheeks ever!

He is back to normal and I decided to put him with his mom and siblings this morning. He is running around and eating and drinking normally.
