Well she isn't getting any better... .but not any worse either. I make sure she eats and drinks plenty, she hasn't lost her appetite. After several "tests" and examinations, its pretty clear that she has a dislocated leg. Its not paralyzed and not stuck in one position. She does move it once in awhile but its as if she has lost most strength in it (because of its dislocation i guess). The leg is still warm. She moves around slowly and only when she reeeally has to. She moves by throwing the leg in front of her and then hops.
I'm stuck at what to do with the poor thing. I will be traveling soon, for nearly a month I will be gone. I can't leave her with the rest of the girls because she just can't get into the coop by herself. She will freeze. By doing research on this forum it seems as though a dislocation is something that can not be fixed?
I hope everyone else's chickys are doing much much better. Very strange coincidences.
