What did you do in the garden today?

unfortunately nothing came back. probably my dogs scared it. fox usually kills all then takes one. probably my dogs scared it. I guess it was a fox. guinea fowl's coop was at the far end of my property. my guarding dog died, another one is old, another one is young and stupid and 2 puppies are too young and I keep them locked up at night. I don't want them to learn to go to the village as my others do. I need to fix my fence before I let them out and there is too much work to do as both dogs and goats damaged it.

Yes I have had fox issues the last couple years. Heartbreaking to come out to bodies everywhere.

I agree.

I still eat home grown and home made food, no allergies. no industrial drinks allowed here. I don't know if that makes a difference.

I try to get organic food I buy. Hopefully less chemicals.
I avoid processed food.

I think it makes a difference.

Seeds have been arriving. Bought a buck rabbit about 9 months old. Tried him with my doe. She did not cooperate this time.

Its making my bulbs think its spring too, daffodils are halfway up and one of my hyacinth is in bloom! Supposed to snow on Friday, so weird.

9* when I got up and 27 for a high. Winter returned. The rabbits did breed this morning. Babies in a month I hope. Ordered some service berry shrubs.

It is sooo cold!! We had a warm spurt which made me really want to get into the garden, but I didn't. Lord JESUS willing we will order seeds soon. I want to keep it simple this year with veggies, and do a lot more flowers.
