Anyone tried the Hoegger's Herbal Chicken wormer? I've just ordered some to give it a try. My chickens are 9 months old and less and I've never wormed them. They free range.

Nope...there is no withdrawal period apparently, that's what I like about it. I'm getting dairy goats soon and while at the breeders she told me about using Hoegger's herbal wormer on her goats. I just got the new catalogue and they are now doing a bigger section on Chickens equip etc and I saw the chicken herbal wormer

http://www.fiascofarm.com/herbs/wormer.htm Hoegger's herbal wormer contains wormwood, a natural wormer. However, it's not recommended for pregnant animals. Do you consider an egg laying hen pregnant

I personally wouldn't mess with herbal wormers, even though I swing toward the natural/holistic side of things. Please read through my signature link at the bottom for my tale about wormers.
