I have 2 light Brahma 16 week old chickens. I’ve been curious because I paid for pullets from the hatchery but I know it’s not 100%. The one is for sure a hen as she is smaller and petite but the other is larger and has more comb and wattles. The big thing is though is it never had even attempted to crow and I have another male in there that at this point is clearly a rooster and has crowed since very early on. Is this just a bigger model??? I added a pic included with the size of the rooster that I am 100% about I bought them all as day old chicks so they all came to me the exact same time. I am confused.

Brahmas are slow maturing and a docile breed. Crowing would insight a challenge from a more dominant male.

Interesting facts! Thank you!! I wondered if maybe because the other rooster has taken lead if he is just staying low
