LOL! I wish I could have chickens that lay avocados! It's too cold here for trees...

Delawares can be super sweet. Looks like you have a nice flock going on.

X2 I adore my Delaware, she acts like a little puppy. Your flock is gorgeous by the way!

OE is Olive Egger.
They lay nice dark green olive colored eggs.
They are a cross of a blue egger and a dark brown layer.

I personally kept getting easter eggers that had issues so gave up and keep just brown layers and one leghorn.

I had 2 EE's who had issues also, made me sad.

my ee girls laid big blue eggs...are green eggs normal for ee?

Easter Eggers can lay really any color from white, green, light seafoam blue, regular light blue, olive, and brown.

I had one that laid olive and another that laid a very pretty blue and others that were seafoam green. Very pretty eggs but more issues then I am willing to deal with. Mostly egg related issues so just not worth it for me.

I do think the green is pretty standard for them.
