And another hour just before I took the dog out for a walk. When I came back it was rotted away and gone.

They are so pretty! This is the third one I've spotted this week, and I know there are two little ones coming along since I can see them through the glass on the side.

Abbil, my L. parahybana surprised me with a molt today! Normaly when they are at this size molting takes up to 24 hours, but this must have gone really smoothly because I never noticed until I came home from work today!
Look at this beauty!
At the top left you can see a wee foot to show what colour she was before the molt.
I'll post a pic of the molt next to my measuring stick later on - she is a whopper!

Not really a fan of spiders. But jumping spiders are cute.
I have always been the one who gently removes the spiders from the house instead of killing them though.
Now both my grown up kids also gently remove spiders instead of killing them.

I'm terrified of spiders, living or dead, anywhere near me. I'm also terrified of webs. But I never kill them; my parents always took them outside, so that's what I do now that I'm older. My son does it, too.

I like to see pictures of them, though. I can appreciate their beauty.

I am strangely enough unfomfortable around any dead insects or bugs, when I was a child I was terrified of them! Always loved the live ones though.

It always makes me very happy to hear that people safely relocate spiders instead of killing them.

With the molt you can see the difference in colour really well too. She was a dull, sandy sort of brown. Now she is dark chocolate!
