Once they are in your hand most of the more handleable species are pretty chill to be fair. I love their little paws!Both of her colors are beautiful!
I remember meeting a tarantula at summer camp when I was a kid. Strangely, THAT didn't bother me! She tickled when she walked, and seemed generally pretty chill.
Is it a black and yellow garden spider?Does anyone know what spider this is? It's on a web outside, but not an orb or funnel. This is the view of the spider's belly (it's always upside down). Parts seem almost iridescent!

The iridescence on the underside of their abdomens attracts fruit flies and gnats and other little flies!
Very amazing to watch them rebuild their webs each day, they work so fast and methodically![]()
