~~Here be spooders!!!!~~ ( and other critters!!)

If I didn’t have a tiny person who shares my interest in bugs (fearlessly) I would totally keep her. I think everyone will be happier if she goes to live in the woods far away from the house lol.
Too tiny of a tiny person to use it as a cool learning experience? I also wouldn't keep one in the house with anyone under 6 or so.

Way under six. Yesterday we found a cicada molt and Tiny had no qualms about grabbing it and investigating until it was a pile of legs and carapace lol. I don’t know if you ever seen one of their molts but they look like those creepy things from the Dark Crystal. Not something I wanted to touch the first time I saw it lol

Oh, I was TERRIFIED of the molts when I was little! At daycare we had big tractor tires to climb on and in, and the cicadas would molt in the tires like a dozen at a time, and I had no idea what they were but they scared the crap out of me :gig It got to the point where I wouldn't go inside the tires anymore because I didn't want to see them.

Now I just think they're really cool and I like to collect them when I find them.

Well, she looks normal now. It was bedtime for me when she started. I have never actually watched it happen before.

Love her! The albops are still one of my favourite species.
I lost my big girl Knickers (don't ask! 😅) last winter to a bad molt but have two or three grown on slings on the go! Can't wait for them to be this fuzzy! 🥰

Here's the peach today and she is still a sub adult! I love this species! 🥰

@ChikaInu and @StinkyAcres. Those are so fuzzy and cute! :love Why do I like tarantulas but am terrified of spiders??? The black widow would have made me faint dead away!
Funnily enough it's really common. In our Scottish Tarantula group it's considered good manners to never put a photo of a true spider in post because so many of the members are scared of them! 😁
