I had to go to the Parkton Post office wich is about twenty minutes a way. it was not to bad i just got lucky for who ever delivered them even though realizing they were living just put them out side the post office door on a cold day in march 2006 luckly they had large lungs and a worker heard them and called me.
They don't. However, we're on the outside of town in the flood district and have a few acres and few neighbors. Never had a problem in 8 years of raising chickens.
As for the rest of south, I think it's limited to pigeons and parakeets.
