hey m.j when you ordered your chicks (if you ordered them) what post office did they go to your local one or a main office and hour or so away?

I had to go to the Parkton Post office wich is about twenty minutes a way. it was not to bad i just got lucky for who ever delivered them even though realizing they were living just put them out side the post office door on a cold day in march 2006 luckly they had large lungs and a worker heard them and called me.

I'm near Williamsport. Ha, so close that it's called South Williamsport.

They let you keep birds in Southside?

They don't. However, we're on the outside of town in the flood district and have a few acres and few neighbors. Never had a problem in 8 years of raising chickens.

As for the rest of south, I think it's limited to pigeons and parakeets.

Hey tffstpp & chickeedee ,just curious, were do you get your chickens butchered, that is if you raise meat birds or do you do it yourself?
