My roo crawled into the nest a few times, he was just showing the ladies where to go. Maybe it is something like that

I always hear it as a convo between rooster and hen.
Her: I LAID AN EGG!
Him: YOU DID WHAT?
Her: I SAID I LAID AN EGG!
Him: YOU DID NOT!
Her: YES I DID COME AND SEE!
Him: WHAT COLOR DE EGG IS?
Her: THE EGG IS EGG COLOR COME AND SEE!

And so on and so forth.

Yah, I don't get out much ... lol.
