My cat has been chasing this mouse in our house for a week and we had even set out a trap for the rodent. She finally got it this morning and looked at me as if to say" well I finally did it". Punkie is not normally a mouser but I think she understood us saying that the baby duck could probaby catch a mouse better than she could and she set out ot prove us wrong. She can catch a rabbitt, squirrell, mole, and mice outside but would not deal withh anything inside.

My sister's cat doesn't like the cold, so brings all caught animals into the house to play with. Once she even brought in an ermine. My sister's new dog has help though, because the cat doesn't like the dog and doesn't bring chew toys in anymore. But my poor sister has stepped on a dead vole more than once on the way to the bathroom in the dark.
