Here is my new chicken coop. Made of redwood, galvanized hardware and deck screws for longest possible life in Hawaii
This is the frame. You can see the extra door designed for access to clean off the hardware cloth under the roost.

This side is a door that completely opens as well as two drop down doors for access to the nesting box.

Now the roost, hardware cloth supported by cattle fence and linoleum tiled plywood are visible. You can also see the chicken steps.

Here it is with the roof. You can see the brush. The rope is connected to the chicken steps and a pulley system so they can be lifted up at night. The steps have wheels

Here is a view of the nesting box area. It is a cat litter box with a doormat of artificial turf lining it.

And finally here is the other door so I can have access to my chickens under the roost.
I hope the girls like it. They will be moving into their new digs in just a few weeks.

That is an awesome A-frame! I am also building an A-frame but larger, from a swing set frame. Look for the thread from me " ...A-Frame, generation 2.0" in this forum! How many are you going to house in there? Are they bantams or standard?

nice, I am trying to build a similar coop. I may still some ideas.
