Hello everyone! Pleased to join this forum.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I've had ducks since 2015. I'm a baker and bought them for the eggs. Sadly I developed a severe egg allergy.


(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I have 4 Runner ducks and 8 silkie chicks


(3) What breeds do you have?

Indian Runners and Silkies

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

Google. I was looking to reduce my flock and this site came up.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Writing, drawing, sculpting, painting, sewing.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I have three kids and numerous cats.

Thanks! It's pretty rare to develop as an adult. Like winning the lottery. But with more vomit.
