NP about the typos. I'm a perfectionist about my typing but other's doesn't bother me.
I've seen plenty of the bears up close and personal. My job takes me to the west side of Kodiak to remote camps. Two mornings in a row last summer I opened the cabin door to bears standing outside it. Scared them more than they scared me!
Our bears are big babies. Fish and Game here is awsome, and the bears and people have pretty much learned to live in peace. Not like the mainland though. This summer was brutal in Anchorage. A couple different maulings.
