We are in the vicinity of Charlotte, NC and are relatively new to chickens - got our first earlier this year. We have hens for eggs (hopefully more and more soon) and a few that we may use to breed mostly for our own use. We love our Silkies especially. Each one is so different! So grateful for the backyard chicken community as we learned SO much before we even joined. We are loving our chicken adventure!!
