Alright - we just concluded our first quail hatch.

18 celadon eggs set, 15 fertile, 13 hatched. One had a hernia and had to be euthanized, but 12 healthy hatches from shipped eggs.

We are now going for the big gorilla.

I am looking for any pointers or tips anyone has on very large hatches.

51 - Cortunix mixed varieties
15 - Black Cortunix
36 - Celadon Cortunix

My question for anyone who has hatched this many eggs at once :

I suspect the candling to take atleast in hour, and was thinking of spreading it out over a few days as to not disturb the climate too much. Any tips for candling this many eggs?
(Last pic is of a white celadon chick - first hatched out of the last batch)

I've never hatched any out, yet, but dang, you've got a lot of eggs to monitor! Pictures are absolutely required!
