Hello all thanks for the add. We've had our little farm in Hamel, IL for 28+ years now. We mainly have fiber sheep, our LGD's & Herding/working Border Collies. From time to time we get chickens. Now our Grandkids are over more we started egg production up again. We have a semi mild flock but mainly Barred Rock & Golden Laced.
I'm contemplating some little show chickens, or Bantams or something...lol.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
.. mainly so grandkids have fun getting eggs. Wouldn't mind looking into little show birds..
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Living History reenacting. Sheepdog Herding.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
