I wish my neighbors were allergic to chickens. They always in their backyard screaming. I actually look forward to the winter rains when they shut up and go inside!

If you were the renter, things would be different. you are entitled to have your property any way you want.
And I have never heard of anyone being allergic to pets kept OUTSIDE. Maybe something else is causing a reaction. Karen

And where does your dh, their ds, stand in all of this??

It's his place to remind them that the property is not theirs. That if they don't like the neighborhood they are free to move somewhere else. Now go, build a nice new coop right on the path from their house to yours......

Well yesterday they came over and told me that every time they come to my house they feel dizzy and sick and feel that they must be allergic to my chickens

I think at that point I'd have told them that I had to go now...I was just on my way to buy some more hens and maybe even a Roo or four!

And while we're at it here, what makes them think this statement will make you get rid or your chickens? I think my response would have been, after all the previous conversations you've apparently had with them on the subject of your chickens, that gee, well, maybe they might want to keep a safe distance!

Actually, people who act that way would not be above reporting you to the authorities in some way to make the chickens vanish.

They know better cause guess who vanishes next. I am zoned to have chickens and roosters, most of my neighbors have them and there really is no set amount as far as i could see when checking my zoning.
