the hen who is NOT broody. I have one on eggs and I dont believe she has left her nest at all. I have one broody who is a week behind her but she is a bad broody. She gets up quite often for long lengths of time.

My drake wishes I was dead and gone every time I go out there now. Here he is telling me off. hard to believe he used to be my sweet baby.

She is a pretty little thing though. I am waiting for one of my hens to go broody too, i've had her for over a year now and she hasn't set a clutch yet, I did catch her in the box this morning though, laid an egg and was playing with the straw covering it up.... Just messing with me i'm sure

They are beautiful birds though. I want some really bad. I have heard that they are great birds to have.

he hisses and runs toward me. I have a great picture that it wont let me upload for some reason. It says it was not saved as a jpg- but it was the picture I took before this one. So far, he is all talk. Hopefully he doesnt change that- cant have that big boy attacking me.
