My first thought was, "Wow! What a nice coop!"

My second thought was, "Wow! What neat painters!"

That closeup of the run after it's first been painted green, the rock and ground is so clean. The way I paint, the rock and dirt would have green smears. Seriously, though, that is an amazing coop. It really looks fantastic, with the barn. You did a great job on the design and the work.

Oh wow!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE your coop!!! It be cool to build a coop with the nesting box's right against the kitchen.

And have something like the eggs roll down a little ramp and end up right next to the stove!!!

Then you wouldn't have to open up a door to the nesting box's and risk getting a freaked out hen in your kitchen.

OMG....that is absolutely wonderful...my DH and i are just going to renovate an old shed...i luv the feed door...ingeinous(sp)
its great that you matched the barn...one would never know it wasnt original...except u spilled the beans...lol
i am definitely going to steal your idea of hardware cloth on the ground...your wife did an excellent job stapling all that
