Heritage and Show quality

I haven't made up my mind whether I want to try RR or Black Australorp but I was thinking about going with a heritage breed then possibly mixing in show birds or rooster into the flock gene pool.
Anyone know of some verifiable sellers of these or rather any that you would recommend?
