I have done numerous experiments that showed that commercial breeds are bred for optimum utilization of high octane fully formulated feed and that they can't thrieve in low-density feeding methods.

But these aren’t commercial ones if they are bred towards the SOP, or have I got that wrong?

Sex links are not allowed in shows and exhibitions even if their parent stock is the best specimen for this purpose.

The thread is about taking show quality pure bred Rhode island reds and show quailty pure bred Barred rocks and crossing them to get sex linked chicks, the person who started the thread wanted to know if the chicks from that cross would be as good or worse then the normal commercial crosses

But in low density feeding systems, if you produce your own corn as an example, and you don't use fully formulated feed, the commercial hybrids will not thrieve.

They are designed for optimum utilization of high octane feed.
