Hi!
So, I recently lost my sweet 8 year old Buff Orpington to ascites. And, of course, now I’m thinking of more chickens. We currently have a small flock of 4, and they are pets, so I don’t need them to be good layers. I just want them to be hardy, long-living friendly lap chickens.![Smiling face with smiling eyes  😊](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f60a.png)
I’m beginning my search for a heritage hatchery that I can drive to in the PNW. Looking for someplace from Southern Washington to Southern Oregon.
Any suggestions?
I really want to avoid farm stores and shipping.
Thank you!
