I was basing my consultant fees remark on the couple of consultants I have personally known. One fella I rode motorcycles with had retired and went back and did consulting work for his former employer. He told me he should have done it years ago since he made way more money. By the way his spending habits changed: Bought several new motorcycles when a couple used ones were all he had for years...I took him at his word.

Another man was my faculty mentor in the Kent State business program. I help him write business plans and do employee relations and hiring seminars for large companies in our area. If my cut of the payment was any indication, he wasn't doing too bad for himself.

And lastly, my husband and I did all the trim work on a new home being built for a forensic accounting consultant. He only worked a couple weeks a month and had no liquidity issues to say the least. Guess most of us just got into the wrong field/job.

So, sorry everyone. It looks like Jim, and probably a few others are going to be charging a retainer before any advice is offered

and it's all my fault.

Hi folks, I washed my MW yesterday with the hudson sprayer...he was not amused, more like totally humiliated...and this morning he looked as if all his tail feathers are much whiter, but stuck together..ugh!
I figured I needed to rinse him and since today I actually have a helper, I rinsed him.
A towel over his head made him so much calmer and we got him rinsed with no ill feelings.
When we removed the towel, he just stood there as if to say "is that all?"
And then slowly walked away.
Guess he is getting used to the handling & wash job.
I have made up my mind to either not show white birds ever again, or pen them early on where there is no mud or other birds around.
I envy those of you with brown or black colored bird!
So as of now, we waite to see how he dries & hopefully fluffs back up nicely.
Otherwise I may leave him home when we shove off tomorrow at 6 AM.
I will get pics of the other turkeys there to post for you as well..bye for now !

Oh, and 1MrsMagoo..........the goose house is so awesome!
And such a nice pond right there!
You will have some very spoiled geese!!!

Sadly, I do not have an APA or ABA judge lisence, thus I do not get paid!

Tell you what, I will just send you guys all the consultations and you can send me 50% of the fees!
