I guess we need to increase the production of fur coats again. The population of Mink Weasels is recovering and they are moving into new territory. They will be in your area eventually.
Predators are recovering all over the USA.

They both need help get the one you like the best. The most important thing is to be sure you know a real breeder, not someones that is good at hatching chicks. There is a huge difference....there are not a lot of good breeders around.
Bee left the fermented feed thread. She has her own blog now.I tried to explain this to a guy, yesterday. He called me on the phone and asked me lots of questions, talked for a long time. He lives in LA (the state). Not sure why he chose to call me, out of all the people on BYC. He wants to raise productive chickens. He bought the Frying Pan Special from a hatchery, but wants to choose one breed to raise. He's been reading some of the popular threads like the Fermenting Feed, etc. and is totally confused about the conflicting information and very high prices on chicks. He couldn't tell who to believe, from reading all the info on BYC.
I recommended that he try an easy breed like White Rocks or NH and post questions on the Exhibition thread to find a good breeder.
