i thought dominickers were critical

The Breed Name is American Dominique. The name "dominickers" refers to more than one breed, the Barred Plymouth Rock (a single combed Barred patterned breed) and the American Dominique (a rose combed Cuckoo patterned breed) also note that the term "Dominique" by itself refers to a pattern not a breed. There are other breeds that use "Dominique" or Dom in there name.

do new hampshire's lay well

As with all breeds it depends on how well the bird was bred. Some lines will lay well and others not as well. You are going to talk to the breeder you are going to get them off of to see if that lint in a good layer or not.

Check your Standard,
In the description of the breed it refers to the breed as the American Dominique. As I stated in my last post there are other breeds that has "Dominique" for example nearly all Game fowl (American, Standard O.E., Oriental etc.) have a Dominique (Dom) patterned fowl, also there are show records of there being a Dominique Leghorn (known now as the Cuckoo/Barred Leghorn).

Chris, edgarmongold is not wrong. The Standard lists their name as "Dominiques" and as you noted, it also refers to them as the "American Dominiques" in the description.
(sorry for getting off-topic)

I have seen some New Hampshire bantams around here, never LF. Beautiful birds non the less.

Just checked the 2010 APA SOP and under American Class is Dominique and the same under breed description.

Also checked the ABA Standard and the breed is listed as Dominique.

There is no accepted variety of Dominique in Old English Game in the APA SOP.

Cuckoo and Barred are listed in the ABA no variety listed as Dominique.

The APA and ABA standards are what we go by here in the US.

Just checked the 2010 APA SOP and under American Class is Dominique and the same under breed description.

In the 2001 SoP it states in the header "Dominique" but if read in the breed description with in the first sentence it states American Dominique.

There is no accepted variety of Dominique in Old English Game in the APA SOP.

That doesn't mean that there isn't a variety that is called a Dom/ Dominique.

Cuckoo and Barred are listed in the ABA no variety listed as Dominique.

Again, That doesn't mean that there isn't a variety that is called a Dom/ Dominique. There is a whole other world of poultry and poultry shows out side of the APA/ABA when it come to Game type fowl.

The APA and ABA standards are what we go by here in the US

I guess that would depend on what you breed and show.
The American Gamefowl Society has there own Standard and shows and I am sure that there are others also.

Now don't get me wrong I have nothing against the APA or the ASoP I breed some of my birds to it.

Sorry for getting off topic.
