Hello everyone! I'm a new member here. We always had chickens when I was growing up. Probably about any breed you can think of . Along with many other types of fowl. But this is my first time having my own, and it's addictive!

Thank you!! We started with 2 Golden Comet girls, and recently got 2 Jersey Giants. Sadly, we're pretty sure one is a roo and we'll have to rehome him, a we can't have roos here.

I just rehomed a BBS Ameraucana Cockerel on Sunday for the same reason.

I'm sorry. I love all my roosters. I'm glad I can keep a few, but it always makes me sad to rehome the rest.

It's definitely sad! We live in city limits and can have 12 hens, but no roosters. I'm pretty sure other people have roos nearby, as I hear them crow in the morning. But my luck, I'd get fined.
