I have a big fluffy blue splash orpington who has gone broody. Then her best friend decided to join her.

Some of the other hens in the flock have been pushing the broodys off their nests (both are pretty wimpy) and laying more eggs for the broodys to sit on. I'm going to have a zillion eggs under each chicken.

Or will I? Will they stop when they have too many in there? The hens have other nesting boxes but they won't use them. UGH. It's like they're all saying "Hatch mine! Hatch mine!"

I keep taking out the new eggs and leaving the ones I want to keep (that I've marked.) Any other solution?

You'll either have to keep removing them everyday, or move the hens somewhere they wont be disturbed. I usually just take out any unwanted eggs each day and it works out just fine.

I moved them. They were not happy but they're back on the nest and so I guess they're fine. They have their own coop to themselves. They're feeling very much like the queens now. :) Thank you!
