Hey Buuuuuuuddies lol

I've heard zebu's are not user friendly-the ze(bra) part of zebu's can make them dangerous to have around.
Uh oh maybe I got the name wrong they look kinda like brahma cows miniaturized.
BTW I have seen grown men dressed in a BIG chicken suit, many times. In decent weather Chickfila has a rotating flock of costumed men(and probably some women too), parading in front of their restaurant out here.
I'd love to see that have to challenge them to a dance off.
:welcome

Like the other greeters, I enjoyed your intro, thanks for joining us!

How's the incubation coming along?
Thanks glad to be here this morning two little chickies greeted me when I opened bator. I use a plastic egg tray in bottom of mini fridge for humidity (day 18 on only) one of the chicks was inside were an egg would go. "Oh no! Don't worry got em right outta there.High hopes for other ten these two days.
Hi and welcome to BYC :frow We're so happy you've decided to join us:ya Great intro, and truly understanding chicken math. WARNING: We have been accused of being enablers. :lau

Thanks, the only culls I've had so far were my dog getting one, Some dumbass (me) put a lil pullet in with grown chickens and she got trampled RIP Cupcake

Welcome, what a great intro. Sounds like time for you to check into "Incubators Anonymous";) They are great enablers!

Thanks, I don't think wife would agree lol

I know this is an intro thread and you've all heard the tale of mary and jane my first chickens. Now on to the first hatchlings! I have a pic from this morning 20171109_071348.jpg

Not the best but I just heard from wife we have 3/12 thus far two yellow and one white. I wish this day would hurry up ahhhh !

What the heck first chickens, first hatches and now.....

First eggs!
20170801_194227.jpg you can't see too good but bottom left in that mulch pile. Notice the stalking dog.
20170804_175525.jpg a closer shot the small ones are mary my buff orp and jane has that jumbo. The blue is Audrey my aracauna.

I let the girls roam everywhere then until their idea of how flower beds and my wifes ideas started to conflict.

The chickens dug a little hole in the mulch and left us eggs until the dogs decided they wanted em too. 20170803_171655.jpg here's another shot before the dogs ruined my dreams of pittbulls and chickens living in harmony.
