Hey Everybody! I'm new to this website and looking forward to getting a little more educated on chickens. I've been raising chickens with my husband for 5 years before he passed away 2 years ago so I've been taking care of his chickens and since then been loving it 
I have been hatching eggs from our chickens the last 2 years and looking forward to hatching a new breed this Easter the beautiful Golden "Buff Orpingtons" I ordered eggs from ebay and that's a first for me so i'm crossing all fingers, eyes and toes hoping this was the way to go and not getting scammed. I ordered EE chicks and they should be arriving this week and I'm looking for a new coop to put them in here at my preschool so the children and their families can enjoy them as well. No roosters here for me at the preschool. I have one at home and so far he is the only one that hasn't flawged me.....the ones before would unless I carried a white stick with me......LOL so just hens for the new ones coming and the Buff's will be going home with me to the coop at home and slowly being introduced to the old hens
