I just joined Backyard Chickens today. I'm just a Christian teen down in Georgia who happens to love animals. Haha.
I bought my first cow with my "birthday money" on my 13th B-day and have been at it ever since. I call my little "farm" Angel Acres(first cow is named Angel). I work part-time at a vet's office and am still in school. I've got chickens, ducks, guineas, 6 cows, 7 goats, a guardian dog(profile pic), a pet dog, cats, a turtle, and a salamander on my little farm that I take care of(and pay for) myself. God has blessed me a lot with my animals.
I just put my first batch of chicken eggs in an incubator today. My Muscovy ducks hatched a bunch of eggs over the summer, but this is the first time I've ever incubated eggs.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
