Hi!
My family has raised free range chickens and ducks since I was 3 years old. And I remember how excited I was when I saw the little chicks in the incubator, and how sweet our first two ducklings were (one of them is still with us!). Now, we raise turkeys, ducks, chickens and quail, and I've recently begun to incubate a few goose eggs!!
I think my favourite part of raising chickens is how friendly they get and just having them around... Or maybe it's just the fresh eggs in the morning!
I've been on BYC in the past.. but I forgot everything about the old account, whoops!
I like to be on forums like this one because there's so many helpful people who are always willing to give their insight, and I think there's a wonderful community here! I'm excited to be back!
